To my knowledge, the droid must be programed every time it is called forth from the datapad. While it could be transfered to a musician and then programed, it would or should transfer back into your datapad, and then need to be recalled by you. If that is the case, it would have the playback module wiped of the recorded music session. Hence it shouldn't be possible to do so, unless you can record the music yourself.

I found this little paragraph in the Entertainer FAQ. Check there to get the full story.

When can I use an Entertainer Droid? To use effects modules, you must be either a Novice Musician or Novice Dancer. To program a playback module in a droid, you must have Novice Musician. If you do not have Novice Musician, you can still use a playback droid if you get a Musician to program it. Once it is programmed, you may control it with the /band commands.

Hope this helps. And like I said, the FAQ probably gives more insight. I just breifly scanned it to find this little bit og info.

No it does not.

Once music is recorder, it stays, until it's deleted.

You only need a musician to record basic soundtracks.

As a side note: when you group with the droid (as musician) you can use /bandflo <number> <instrument recorded in droid> to have the droid do flourishes (and use /flo for yourself).

Cool, thanks. Out of couriosity, do you know if the droid actually does the movements of the flourish or does it just play the fourish sound.

Unfortunately no... It only works for musical flourishes... Maybe dancers and DE's should ask for the probots, medical and protocol droids to learn dances first... Altough I prefer a real person to dance with

*think droids will go out of orde, when doing too much breakdance....*
