I've noticed that some of my droid deeds have had the Publish 8 HAM increases retroactively applied to the deed (all the LE droid deedsthat I crafted before the publish have 5k+ HAM), but some of my publish 7 droid deeds have not had the Publish 8 HAM increases applied to them.
Why is this? Are the droid deeds we crafted suppossed to have the Publish 8 HAMs? If so, why is it only happenning to the LE droids? If not, then why have my LE deeds all had their HAM increased?
I am very confused by this.

Join the club.
Look back in the last page or two from a post by me titled "Uncrate Your Pre-nerf Deeds".
In short, your "deeds" should not have changed, it's deeds removed from factory crates post-Publish 8 that are different. Crates aren't actually containers but "mini factories", and when deeds are created from one post-publish 8 it seems that they are calculated scaled to the new schematic.
For droids made AFTER publish 7, but before publish 8, this is what happens - and as long as you had combat modules everything should be kosher. However, pre-Publish 7 droids (before we had combat modules) are coming out of crates with nice HAMs but have no combat ability - they do no damage (or 1dmg) because they never had combat modules and are scaled to the new schematic. They can be sold as nice little tanks though for beginers, since they do have decent HAM - but there is no more inherent 70dmg.
You are right - it is very confusing. The moral is this - count yourself lucky that you got the droids with new HAM that you did, and sell the rest as beginner combat droids. None of this was "supposed" to happen - old deeds should have stayed the same, and the only reason we got any with new stats is because of a loop-hole in how the crate system works.
If your deeds changed outside of crates, I can't speak to that - didn't happen to me. I have heard a few rumblings around of deeds when tamed getting better stats, but I have not heard anything conclusive about it - and I'm not going to waste my droid stock testing it out any more endlessly than I already have. I price them at the stats listed, and if someone gets a bounce up in HAM when they tame a droid good for them.
All of these old droids are on my "Newbie" vendor - the real business is in the NEW combat droids.

i didn't think it was so, but it is possible that these LE droids were pulled out of the crate after publish 8 hit live. I can't remember any more, but it makes more sense than the alternative. thanks.

Are you seeing the HAM changes on the deeds or in the "tamed" droids (once they are in your datapad)?
If it's in the deeds, then it likely was that they came out of crates - none of the droids on my vendors or in backpacks that weren't in crates saw a difference. You should check all yoru crates - the stats don't update on the examine of the crate but only when a droid is actually extracted (and sometimes the first or last one out of the crate doesn't update as well).
In any case, as I said - it's a bonus that any of them were retro - and I'm pretty sure unintentional. The ones that have better HAM still can't match my new ones, so I sell them as "mid-level" droids.
