Thread: confused on amount of components when making combat droids...

So i'm making an R4 combat droid it has 3 slots for combat mods and 2 for armor. my question is is there any way to get more than 3 combat modules in a droid by using the combat cluster modules? i tried putting 3 in a combat cluster and then putting the cluster in a slot and it would not fit. Am i doing something wrong? I have been a DE for a few months and have never gotten this right. Any ideas?
And yes i looked through the past 10 or so pages looking for an answer to this question before i posted this.

Combat capable cluster will fit in combat capable socket cluster.
Basically if the droid shematic say you can put combat capable module, you can put 1 module in that emplacement.
If it say cmbat capable cluster, you can put a cluster in it.
In adv R4 you can only put 3 modules.
In adv R2 you can put 1 combat capable cluster and 2 modules.
In adv R3 you can put 2 combat capable clusters.
Just read carefully the shematic, you'll get it.

crap, now what do i do with the 120 adv R4 chasis i just built.

Sell them off to a low level DE. Trust me they can use them.
I made lots of money with 2 Experimented Level 3 modules(2 item or 2 med) and a crafting station in an R4.

Should be able to toss like a storage module, med module and med /food crafting module in them. Just sell them as cheap utlity droids.

You could also try putting detonation modules in them and selling them for cheap. People might buy them for the fun of watching droids explode.

Last adv R4 I made has about 3.2K HAM, so I can also be good low level combat droid.
