I will try and make this easy.

I had a 3P0 med w/storage droid and I wanted to customize it another color.

I then read somewhere that you needed to get the newer models to do this.

I purchased a new 3P0 droid same everything except it was red.

When I put the droid in my data pad it was gold.

I then asked a Droid engineer, a novice mind you, to see if he could customize it.

He could NOT.

Do you need a Master to do this? Or did I just waste 30k for the same droid?

Thank you for your help I looked on the forums and could find no info.

This is currently not working on chassis or when you try to paint a 'readied' Protocol.

It's on the list of issues/bugs.

For now, the only Protocol coloring that seems to work is picking the color when you first make the deed. All other coloring/paint features on this droid are currently broken (or unfinishe).
