While I love my sarcastic LE droid, she has a limited repertoire so I decided it was time for a change and replaced her with a brand spanking new one, built with a stupid personality chip installed, to take after her owner.

However to my disappointment it hasn't uttered a word yet. Is this because its stupid or is it broken? Maybe I have to send it after bigger foes as I was only pitting it against fairly easy prey.

I'd also like to see more of these modules, or ones which we can program a limited number of responses, and when are we going to be able to name these droids?

That reminds me can you name LE repair droids if they haven't had a personality chip installed?

Stupid droid's, Very funny

I build one for a m8 of mine, i found it fitting for him, worked out great.
It gives comments like "euhm what command again?" and "Okey dokey"
Its just sweet

I still maintain that all droids should require a personality chip. Granted for the non-talkers it would be difficult to 'show' which personality was installed (I'm not suggesting we go back to the non-talers suddenly talking because that was wrong)

Seriously, I love the personality chips. I wish we had more and also had some control of what they say just like the merchant barker droids. I want to taunt my enemies with thru my droid!

C3PO would not know when to stop talking. That should be the case with our droids also.

You'll note that this is #5 on our Top 5 list. The overall droid personalities / AI type issue is very high with another Corr. as well.

I don't know if/when we'll see this changed...but it's always possible.
