Hiya,
I've been a Master DE for about two weeks now. I hade a driod today with the 6 Effects modules and sold it. The person I sold it to stated that they coudln't do the effects. The 'effects' menu wasn't shown anywhere.
I'm not sure what level of entertainer skill she was, and we were in my house, but I would think that if that was the case the 'effects' menu would be grayed out.
Anyone have any suggestions? She had to log so I gave her money back, but I'm curious what it takes to get these things going.
Thanks much

these arent entertainer droids, they are for elite entertainers only, musician and dancer.

id guess novice, i havent sold many of them, but the ones i did sell were at least novice, usually higher tho 4ht tier choreographer, judging by the dance, so i cant say for sure., unless its like the barkers which ive heard require advertising 4 to use.

I have a master musician and my droid works fine. I especially love the dancing jawa effect. If any of you DE get questions about how they work, heres a quick write up...
I have an R3 with all 6 modules. On the droid radial menu, there is an option with 2 choices... "turn on effects" (on/off toggle), and "configure effects".
The effects WILL NOT WORK until you configure them. The configuration menu has 10 slots. You can load 1 effect into each slot and give it a delay number it will wait before performing the next. Example, my first 4 slots look like this...
Foam effect 10
dancing Jawas 10
foam effect 30
confetti 30
(6 more slots)
what this does is generate a sea of white foam, waits 10 seconds then starts the jawas, then a second foam starts up, follwed by confetti 30 seconds later.
I'm not sure of the required level to operate, but I'll check my skill tree when I get home. If you have not seen these effects yet, and are on Ahazi, send a tell to Rhaine Starfal and I'll pop by and show ya. The DE who made it for me was amazed!
I'm still trying to get a working music droid. My first was made in a 3po, and everytime I start playing, he stops. Guessing biped droids are bugged for music... as they are for most things.

You can only access/use the special effects of the 6 modules when you are at least Novice Dancer or Novice Musician.
I was Novice Dancer until I dropped it.
It will NOT work, if you are a musician or dancer on the Entertainer level. You need to be of the "elite" class.
/em mutters she is glad she is no longer a dancer with all the AFK dancers/musicians sitting in the front room of the cantina lagging at entry.

ok the mystery has been figured out. The person that purchased this driod was still trying to get it to work and I had another order come in for a driod w/ the playback modules. Great I thought, she is novice musician she can make the dual wave synthizer. I asked her to make it and then she realized she wasn't a novice musician or a novice dancer.
So she gave me the money I refunded to her and went along her way. I'm sure it'll work when she gets to the novice level.
Thanks for everyones assistance
