I don't know how many of you can try this out and provide feed-back, but any kills that I am making with the detonation of a droid are unlootable/unharvestable. I looked in the module thread for info on this, but could not find anything. I've tried grouping with the droid and it still doesn't work. The only way I can harvest/loot is if I get one shot in before it goes **edit**-up. None of my customers who bought these things have told me about this, but I doubt they are using them to dismember Gnorts for fun. (Hey..I man needs his entertainment somehow /shrug) The creatures that don't die will definately agro on me, no doubt.

I really hope this is an example of not "being 5% smarter than the thing your trying to use" on my part. Anyone else come across this....?...........................................Bueller................Bueller......

My Alt is a Master DE and I've tested this....

It's not a bug apparently...It happens for the same reason you don't get any XP for damage done by the Bomb Droid...If you let your Combat Droid (non-bomb) kill your target without getting off a shot of your own, you will not get any loot rights or XP with this either...

Some have said that if you are grouped with the Bomb Droid before it kills it's target you may get loot rights, but I haven't verified that yet...

The easy solution is for people to make sure and shot their target once before using /detonatedroid...even if you are a melee profession player, arm a pistol and hit the target...or run up, get one hit and run away...the Bomb Droid blast will not damage the user even if he or she is caught in it's blast radius...

yea, you've got to get at least one hit in yourself. On the flipside of that though, if you hit something with say a pistol beforehand, then take it out with a droid, you'll get all the xp for the creature as pistol xp. This can be useful when working on getting xp for combat professions (hit everything around you with an area of effect attack, then blow the droid).
