Thread: Wow, the DE board is slow lately....

I guess that is a good sign ? When things were rotten, the boards were flying with hate and discontent messages. From my point of view, the current batch of goodness has made DE a lot more worthwhile. Are the boards slow just because most are too busy making things to post ?

I think we're just kinda in a quiet spot now. Most of the "old school" DEs have gone and the next generation are still kinda feeling things out. Give it a few weeks and we should have some new ongoing arguments and running jokes. Just like the old days!

I heard a rumor that TK is really a Twilek in Wookie's clothes.

It seems to me that a lot of the posts lately have been about redunadant questions that are easily answered or is easy to point to a sticky or other post to reference an answer.

Or, most DEs have had enough of the profession and moved on. To wait for the Shipwright profession to come out and see if the R-seris droids will be needed.

I think they are too busy in-game to make a post.

Still here as well, haven't dropped DE since I got it either. I think many of the folks who ground it out just for the publishes have left too. Personally I'm not sure how much longer I'll stay on the path, but we'll see...

I'm still around too! Really, the day the patch came out I worked SO hard to help everyone I could as fast as I could, I sorta wore myself out I think. There's SO much to make now, it's tough keeping the factories pumping out the crates of items, and by the time I get one item crate-ified so I'm not hand-making components, I run outta something else. It's a vicious cycle, but in a way it's been opening my eyes to a new droid market. Parts distributor I wonder if there's any DEs out there who would focus on purely building the droids if they were able to get subcomponents from a vendor on a regular basis. Hmmm.

Still here

Just waiting for some high OQ Bile and Angst to spawn then I'll be back on form again lol

The lack of a fix to the structure maint droids is raising my blood pressure though

Its nice to see the new DE's treading the well worn path though, I try to help when I can. DE advice center in game hehe. Bless em!!

I'm still here too.

I was just commenting about this very subject to a friend of mine the other day. With our focus-publishes behind us, there's nothing to debate anymore, which seems to be what DE's thrive on....

As JTL gets closer, though, I think we'll see some renewed fervor on these boards. On top of that, add the hologrind-ending Publish 10 that will weed out much of the "How Do I Grind DE" posts, and I think we really will be back to "normal," or close.

I think that the new droid stuff mostly doesn't suck. Therefore, we're busy busy making droids - I can't stay stocked myself on Scylla.

Been a DE for about a little over a month now.

Craft, Craft, Craft, spend time trying to find a tailor to make my droid makers toolbelt schematic, Craft some more, Get backlogged on orders, etc...

I love this profession right now, even if I can't make my droideka, and battledroids yet. So much to do, so little time...better get back to droid making.
