I find my best sellers are med droids. What are your best sellers?I am a Master de over a month , I cant make droids fast enough -- i make lots of 200 minimum of my droids to...
the pro-bot tank droid if advertised correctly will sell fast -- but you need to know your player base.
the key is to educate buyers, do reseaerch -- and advertise havea "following" on your trade forums.
look around at the forums and offer in bulk something no one else has --
Im working on anew droid with a marketing campaign behing it, the droid has been done before -- but how i plan on selling it -- how to use it -- etc has not. that is the key give players a reason they want the droid, dont expect them just to come.
My tank droid i have some players buying them by the case, for pa's friends etc -- and i sell em at 85k each. I
Testing, if you make a new droid , test it give a few out to test , in groups by themselves etc -- if they like it they will be back for batteries and stims -- and will tell there friends...
I have to say marketing is by far the best way to sell droids. On my server I was the first one to break 100 on Creature Harvest droids. I went to the forums to advertise that fact, and now I have trouble keeping up with the demand for everything. I've just make some awesome Repair Mods that once my factories finish I'll go back to the forums and advertise them. Once people know your name they tend to come for you.
The other big thing is keep your vendor stocked. Some DE's only sell by special order, but I try to always stock Med Droids, Creature Harvest Droids (I NEVER let this sell out if I can help it). If people come and see a full vendor they typically come back to check again.
Best seller are combat probot, playback droid, entertainer droid, BH droids, battery crates and custom kit.
Business is not fast, but it isn't slow either considering I charge twice what other DE charge on the server for high end droids (R3, R2).
I concur. I sell 3 +107 harvest droids on starsider for every one <any other type> I sell.
