Power droids are supposedly for charging up other droids in the area. Maintenance droids I think will be able to repair other droids now with repair modules.

Yes... no it doesn't make sense, but yes.
*How do Power Droids work?
When you go to the program menu of the power droid it should give you a recharge other droid option. program that to be whatever you want (I'll use "charge" for my example). You then target another droid and say "charge". The power droid must be fairly close to the other droid (something like 10m or so) otherwise you will just get a ?. Whenever you recharge another droid, the power droid loses 10% of its battery (see question number 1).
*How do Maintance Droids work?
Depends on what you mean by the question, 4 ways you could take it I think. If your asking about LE "repair" droids, they don't do anything special.
If your asking about the structure maintenance modules, you put one in a droid, then go to a structure you have admin on. Under the structure management menu there should be an assign droid option. Alternately, you can either target the structure or just be inside it if its a house and use the /assign command. It will then bring up a box with a list of any droids with structure maintenance modules you've got in your datapad, choose the droid you want and hit ok. You can then perform a maintenance run on any/all of the structures on the droids list. Just click the droid, go to perform maintenance run, and it should bring up a new box with a list of all the structures assigned to your droid. Choose one you want to add maintenance to and click add, then use the standard maintenance window to add maintenance. repeat for any/all structures you want to add maintenance to, then hit go.
If you are asking about repair modules, those work similar to the power droids only they can go in any droid and the module will heal all the target droid's wounds.
If your asking about the auto-repair module module, just have the droid out and in your gorup, click on it, choose auto-repair on/off, and any other droids within 30m that are in your group will be repaired every 10 seconds by the damage value indicated on the droid.

The Maintenance droids DON'T work and that is the problem. If you take down a structure listed on the droids entry list and forget to delete it first, you have just ruined your maintenance droid...nice huh?....I got a ton of irrate customers /sigh.

Thanks for the summary. I refuse to stock them as they cause so much grief to customers. I've made less than five, and don't anticipate making more since they need to be fixed.
If the modules could stack AND if they could list all structures are available to the droid (structures you have admin on), say when you are standing somewhere else than right next to a specific structure, then I think this would be gold.
Until then, I just can't afford the headaches of being so very precise with each and every customer who purchases one. So, I'll wait.

yes maintain droids sucks bad sadly
i ruined a BLL with maintain module cause of such
and powerdroids are silly yes, they got build in powerplant but need still batteries grrrr devs turn your brain on pls
also i am still very angry about the way to high powerusage of droids (1hr?) and the rediculous low customize lifespan (50calls)
