oky i got a few droids, just made some brand new droids.

My poor old tired R2 Nutzhad to be retired. Hispaint wouldnt stick and his repair module didnt work. He had a few lose bolts and one of his motivators was smoking. Though his brain was rock solid and never lost any data he would still ignore me at times i do however think this is a trait of all R2's im still unsure if this is by default or design. His storage always kept my clothing nice and dry and ready for use after survey missions. One of his crafting stations wouldnt always work and it had seam his time of usefullness had come to an end. After many hours and weeks of deliberating there was only one thing to do, the time came torecylce him. I managed to save his brain, the soul of my little astro mech and part of his assist program for use in his rebulid.

After many hours of slaving in my shop. i spent countless nights carfully dismantling my loyal friend. Taking care to make sure his personality chip was still intact i removed his advanced R2 brain and carfully cleaned everything. I decided to toss his program to assist in armor making to make room for his new imporved Droid Creation assist program he would get bored making armor anyway and would alwayshinder more than he would help. I used a air tight titatium storage module with double seals to keep my clothing dry, the swamps of naboo can have a very foul order and the ladies dont like it when you stop by the canitina for a drink smelling like a wet wookie. With his data memory modules reinstalled and slightly improved I usednew highly conductive polymere to stop corrosion and keep hishigher fuctions at peak capacitiy. Next i revamped his repair systemsto better assist in aiding his fellow moterized friends. Last but not least i added an experiment stimulant delievery system. Naboo is full of nasty insects with numerous types of deadly poisons and on more than one occasions a spider bite has gotton the best of me and i have spent weeks in the hospitol. With the help of a chemist friend of mine we have worked out a way for my R2 to aid me in the event i end up on the edge on mortality and life again.

All that was left after weeks of work was to add a new coat of paint and double check all of his connections. I gave him one last once over and all looked great. It was now time to reconnect his main power system and cross my fingers. Success ! ! My revamped R2 worked flawlessly. His origonal brain and programing was still intact. He responded to all my commands with out hesitation. It was as if he was even more happy with his new systems than i was. After 100's of hours of work "Nutz Too" and his revamp was a total success. I look forwards to many more years of his faithfull service.

I hope you enjoyed my story : ) but now on to my problems

In Nutz Too's Rebuild i put in one of the new repiar modules. Not the auto repair, the one that is supose to allow him to repair other droids. In the data pad the repair modules is registered as installed and in proper working condtion. I tried to get him to repair a customers droid but could not figure out how to get it to work. i tried, befriend, targeting the R3 and also the owner, we also grouped and had both droids group and had no luck. There was not a program tab to program a repair command, nor was a default one I think he had enough power though i did not double check. Server was coming down and i was trying to make a 4 combat module R3 with a stim and auto repair. and get my customers droid fixed at the same time.I have no idea id i was doing something wrong or what.. anyone have any clues what i was doing wrong?

My other droid problems is in a combat model.

I have a 5 module combat R3 with one stim pack module. Atm the stim pack module is empty as ive been busy and keep forgetting to ask a doc to install the stims. The problem with him is i DO NOT have an option to turn ranged combat on and off. He has both cuase ive see him attack in both ways though i have no control over what he does, Damn R3s have a mind of there own. A customer of mine has a 600 CR R3 and his has the option, it shows up right ater the top program comand,, i forget which one it is, but its right above group. I did not make his R3. I have seen the toggle on an atuo heal droid. soo i know how they work. I have no idea why im not getting the option. Though its not really a big deal as he wokrs great im just currious what is up with my astro-mech.

Any help From the DE communtiy would be great.

Thanks

1. You must Program a command for Repair. It will be listed on your datapad afterwards as Trick1. Use the radial and explore all the options for the droid with him out. There is no default command usually, and this should be the first thing you program on a repair or power droid.

2. I would trade the droid to someone, have them call and store it, then trade it back. That sometimes clears these errors with the radial menus up for the astromech series. Other than that, I have no idea what may be causing your problem, except to note that sometimes I've seen the toggle for various modules buried under the options on the radial.
