Teaching your new droid his name is no more difficult than programming it. Simply preface each command with your desired name. For example, if you are programming your droid to follow, instead of just /saying follow you would
/sayBoomer follow
Once you havetaught your droid four different commands that useits new name,it willappear overits head andit willhave learned it. Once that happens, you can then re-program the commands without usingits name so that they areeasier to type during normal use, like /say follow.

You CANNOT name the LE Repair, Surgical or Protocol droids. All the others you can, except these three. Go figure. Personality chip installed, you would think it would be really nice for them to be personalized, but noooo.
