Thread: powerdroids
If owned by two different people and commanded to charge the other, and then only for as long as each one's battery lasts.
Myguess. :->
(Added): But why would you want to? It would make more sense to me for them to have anexclusive storage unit that would hold up to 5 batteries, which would be its own power supply, automatically keeping it recharged so it could be used to recharge other droids with its power supply.

You can have one power droid charge another, as long as they both are hitting each other every 40 minutes or so. I personally have seen two keep each other charged over 10 hours. This is very difficult to arrange, as you have to have 2 people with 1 droid each out - so while one person is macro buffing, the other is bored.
Nice idea - I've been trying it to - not only do you have to manually recharge the power droid but while it's out it actually loses power faster than a surgical!
I tried putting the power droid on a hot key - but it only examines it, like the battery.
I have found no command or instruction to recharge a droid in a macro.
Personally, I think it insane that a power droid which has a power core inside needs batteries at all!

It is a problem of balance.
If a droid didn't need batteries, he'll be way overpowered and own all the CM/Riflemen and Jedi on the server, then, he'll probably manage to conquer the galaxy and destroy the empire and the rebelion.
Basically, it's for your own safety.
I think the color lifespan is for the same reason.
How exactly do you charge a droid through the toolbar? When I put the droid battery in the toolbar and select it, it just examines the battery. Any ideas?
