Why cant we color our "living furniture" which soon gets "a even stronger role" (hehehe)?

I know theres a Merchant Droid looking like a red 3PO and the Ticket Collector in silver and some ppl would put there silver 3POs next to him to annoy ppl.

But i cant see nomore golden stupid 3POs which dont talk much at all.

Why cant i give them a custom dialog? That would be fun?

If you want to give them a sronger role do this and they would enrich SWG with Player made content through talking 3POs...

Two things I also want. Particularly the dialogues. I want to enable my droid to recognize keywords spoken within his range of hearing, and have that kick off dialogs. In fact if possible, I'd like to have TWO possible scripts to follow, depending on whether the droid has been told to befriend that particular individual.

I ALSO want that befriend capability to work as a commandline, ie:

/telldroid befriend Obi-Wan

(Note I don't like using /tellpet, so I fantasize).

You could, for instance, do this while still off-planet, and then when the droid arrives there, and meets with that individual, a wide range of the droids' capabilities become available to them.

Good freaking lord no, I never want custom droid dialog...the last thing I need is an annoying d00d speak droid roaming around. Add it in when PCs can kill droids at any time...

The custom dialog for droids probably won't make it into the game because it would leave the door wide open for griefers. You could set your droid up to spam some poor guy, then tell it to follow him around.

Personally, I think it's a good idea, if you could somehow code out the griefing aspect.
