First I'm not a DE. THat said I have some ideas on what I want to have acces as a non DE.

1) 1 Combat droid. I don't want 2 since I'm not a Squad leader.

2) I want a droid that will be my equal and not allow a nooby with a sponser to ahve the best possible combat droid.

There are already posts on how scaling the certifications of diffrent levels of combat droids can be done. So I'll give my input on the droids them selves.

First Chasis.

Remove the medium armor from the Probot . Since they are removing armor from creature level 30 and under pets a Probot should not have Medium armor. Bring HAMs and damage in to line with other creature level 10 critters..

Add 2 new chasis. No IG-88 IG-88 was supposed to be a completely automous unit.NO ONE GAVE HIM ORDERS, IT WOULD NOT BE A PET FOR YOU OR VADER. There are other types of droid chasis for combat. We will call them Comb1 and Comb2 for this document.

Comb1 Light armor and HAMs and damage in line with creature level 20 critters.

Comb2 Medium armor and HAMs and Damage in line with a creature level 40 critter. Yes, a CL 40 droid ( Droideka are not really as powerfull as they should be )

Combat droids can only have 2 types of modules, but neither are required to make the droid.

1) Armor. Would increase the resistances by apercent of the starting resist percentages. Example: Starting Droid has 20% and gets a 10% armor module. Droid resist with armor module is 22%. This would keep the droids from getting to high a resist at to low a level. No probot with 90% resists.

2) Weapon module. All combat droids start with a base energy attack. The weapon module allows you to change the dammage type and/or change the damage. Changing the damage type would requir a componet from a weaponsmith ( think a proper barrel that corresponds to a weapon with the damage type that is wanted). Changing the damage would require a blaster power handler form a weaponsmith. The change to damage would be a percent of the base damage for the droid. Again to keep a Probot form getting to powerfull. This would give the droid more versitility in use.
