I had a guy last night buy 4 droids with max data storage only. I asked what for and he said he makes his "livelihood" from selling the discs from the warren. I didn't believe that they could be stored in the droid data storage because up until that point I only knew schematics as the only thing that could be stored in droids. he traded one to me, and sure enough I could put it in the droid's data storage.

I found it odd that he was willing to buy 4 droids with only 150 data storage each, he must be really milking that place if he has that many discs to put in his droid's data storage. and making a killing doing it.

Is storing these data discs an exploit? If so, I will refrain from selling droids for that purpose when asked. If it is intended I'd like to know as well, so I can post this news on the DE forums, and let them know that the droid data storage isn't completly useless like we previusly thought.

While I think he misread my PM, it's obvious that storing these in a droid's data storage is "not an exploit". I don't know why someone would need 150 (600 in this case) data discs from the Warren, but to each his own I guess.

Interesting. I had wondered why I had been getting so many requests for data mods in the last few days.

You turn these discs (5 in all) to someone in Theed to get your 2nd Warren badge. The first Warren badge being the Compassion one.

These discs are the evidence that proves the proprietor of the Warren, Col. Teraud, is plotting against the Empire for his own selfish gains.

It's a nice reward for imps, 500 fp! Not too bad for rebs too if you've wanted to keep your imp negative fp low.
