Thread: New Master De----the obligatory post
Ok, so I had one block left to go today to get to master.....so I grind...and grind....
I make master, proceed to gather more resources since the grind thinned me out a bit, and go to craft a level 6 med mod. First try, you guessed it...crit fail. Ok, I had been grinding all day, with a few crit fails, maybe I was due. So I begin to update my personal droids. First droid I make, a binary load lifter....you guessed it...crit fail. I know the first question you will all ask is "Binary load lifter!?!?!?!", but lets just get past that..lol.
I am a master DE, I can understand crit fails, but on 2 of my first 3 attempts?
Today while I was grinding I got a lot of critical failures in a row. From what i have seen in the past whenever there a: working on the servers or b: a heavy load on the servers. Crafters start to get some heavy critical failures. I know a dev will say its random and just a coincendence. But I have seen it to many times.
binary load lifter was the first droid i made when i got master

My first droid at master was an advanced protocol with medical and FC crafting. It crit failed on the last stage and I threw my shoe at the monitor. Why do we yell at our monitors when the real evil is in the box on the floor?
Anyway, my second droid at master was another advanced protocol. This was a present for my sister and it worked great.
I must say the grind was tough, but I am having fun with this profession, and I know (or at least hope) that all our suffering will come to an end and that we will have both viable, useable droids as well as a nice array of combat droids. Plus with the space expansion pack, the possibilites are limitless. I make lots of money with a busted profession before I even got to master, I don't expect it to go up that much, but the level I am selling now I feel will be maintained.
