Make all of the electronic componentsavailable to a Master Artisan also available somewhere in the DE tree.
I mean really, why do I need to know how to make Blob Candy to make droids?

yah we all know it sucks, but its suppose to make the game more player dependant. It's not that bad really just go to an MA if you dont want to master it and get the parts from him. I would probably master artisan even if I didnt need to.

They cant do this, If they did this, I could afford to master DE, master merchant, and pick up some fighting skills to protect myself on my harvester runs. Dear god, the DE would be the most uber of classes.

Or just collect the resources for it and then have a MA make you a schematic, then you can just make them as you need them.

I am an MA. I don't want to have to be an MA to make these things. How many Archs, WSs, or ASs do you know who are also MAs? Why should we have sooo many things that we need so much of be locked up in MA? This puts us at a great disadvantage as far as skill point uses go. Sure I could drop MA and find someone to make the stuff for me, maybe if my guild had another MA I would do it. I just don't want to have to rely on folks for things I need sooo much of.
I just think this puts us at a great disadvantage.

LOL -- Hey Jonas, I think you may have just hit upon the reason that droid data storage only works for schematics!

I'm a MA an working towards MDE. This, quite frankly, is *not* 'The one single thing that will help the DE profession most'. I have no idea how you rate this above the broken chassis we have or the many other real issues. Choosing MA or not is your point decision. Why do armorsmiths need tailors to make their reinforced fiber panels? Because They Do.
