following sequence

After running through a few of the imperial theme Park missions I am awarded a droidsmiths tool kit schematic . This needs some parts that are either loot drops or no lonfer able to be made due to patches .

I am very lucky and i get hold of a droidmith repair tool that someone has been holding for 6 months , and yes it fits the schematic nicely . Wahoo ! Even better , this is dontaed to me . If it works i will come to a financial arangement with the donor as a thank you.

I manage to get hold of 2 identiacal Heavy Duty Clasps after an appeal on the trade forum , and this cost me 30,000 credits .

I buy a crate of reinforced fiber panels off the bazaar for 6000 credits , so im nearly there .

Ihave some cargo pockets that i have llloted and kept , just in case they have any use , and yes , they are listed on the schematic .

Yesterday i assembke the various parts, the droid tool , clasps , fiber panel , metals , polymer , all drop into the schematic fine .

the slot that says cargo pocket , will not accept a cargo pocket ! - Runs around shouting for a bit .

All i can think of is that maybe the cargo pocket needs to come from a crate , even though only one is required and that the schematic only says cargo pocket , not cargo pocket from a crate .

So another appeal , does anyone have a crate of cargo pockets that tey would loan me pleasae . i cannt fin d a tailor to make this for me and find myself stuck once more.

i am on wanderhome server and player name is hirosue .

thank you

There are two types of cargo pockets, the looted ones that hold items, and the tailor-made component. A tailor can make that last component for you, better yet, have a master tailor build it, that way you have a much lower failure rate, some of those components are VERY rare. You got lucky with those heavy clasps, they go for 100k per set. How did you find that repair tool? I've been trying to find one of those forever, my guilds master tailor has all the other parts for that.

Hey Hirosue,

Hmmm sounds like this might be the key to your project. A different type of cargo pocket. ??

Keep us posted k?

SUCCESS

I made the droidsmiths tool kit today .

The looted cargo pockets did not fit but i found a tailor to make one for me .There was a lot of finger crossing as i assembled the pieces , i was grimicing in expectation of a critical failure , but that unfortunate event did not happen thankfully.

So now we all can rest assured that the schematic isnt gated . the only real difficulty is going to be in finding the droid repair tools .

If anyone on wanderhome has these i will be happy to use the schematic i have to make the item for you if you provide the heavy duty metal clasps . I can only make 2 more as the schematic is a 3 use only item . So all you old or x -droid engineers start digging through you stores .

cheers all

ps my shop is at -1872 -3954 near bestine starport on wanderhome server and the tool kit is on display on the wall

I believe the stats on these will always be the same (except for the sockets available).

Here's the stats on mine:

Droid Assembly: +5

Droid Customization: +5

Droid Experimentation: +3

Sockets: 4

Ahh i see so another item that really cant be experimented on great. Well at least it has sockets tho ive never seen a tape with pluses to droid experimentation or assembly only the -1 ones

I don't think you'd be able to put additional similar type stat tapes onto the toolkit. I think the tape will just disappear and not stick if you try to stack them.

You're prolly right about that, i think i remember hearing you cant stack skill mods.

Well good, so our profession specific clothing is next to impossible to craft and nonexperimentable (did i just make that up?). OK ok, sorry i tried to get all the cinicism out last week, TK don't hit me *cringes*
