I have an interesting checkers/balance question!

If only DE's can use the Droid Reconstruction kits... Then why can all players use the Pet vitality packs to heal droid wounds?

Is this not giving more checkers to the BE's in reguards to droids? Where is the balance of droids to pets??? I can't feed my droids to heal their wounds, and my customers and I cannot call 2 droids at once so we cannot use repair modules skills on our combat droids???

So barring the obvious of 2 players healing each others droid wounds, or players buying pet vitality packs... Have we been under-loved on our own droids again????

Questions that plague my mind......

Comments and suggestions welcome... But no FLAMING please....

I'm pretty darn sure Pet Vitality packs don't heal droid wounds. At Best they used to repair the "vitality" of the droid many months ago...but that was removed anyway.

Pet Vitality Packs only heal vitality in animal pets and droids, not wounds. For wounds you need either the reconstruction kit which only a DE can use or another persons droid with a Repair module.The reasons the Devs gave about only DE's using the reconstruction kits was something about expertise and giving us return business. I just got a bunch of angry customers so I guess that counts are return business, handing out refunds kept me busy for a while.

The Vitality Packsare once againworking on droids, I used one this morning. Not sure if they are supposed to operate this way but once I used the pack it restored my droids vitality from 72/100 to 99/99.

Thanks for correcting me! I was following info from a customer, and you all are right.. the vitality packs fix the vitality only... not droid wounds...

However players can feed pets to heal thier wounds... but cannot feed droids... so balance issue is still there IMHO....

has anyone tried using their repair droids? i have and it wouldnt work, leading me to wonder if the repair modules effectiveness was removed in the patch.

Ya were is the balance...

I sell vehicle customization kits.... (can be used by anyone)

I sell droid customization kits...(but they can not be used by anyone)

So in turn I can not sell droid customization kits as no one can use it anyway exept a droid engineer and they can just make them for themselves.......

I don't get it.....

If you don't need novice DE to use a droid then why should you have to have novice DE to paint one?

The Repair module is no longer working in the Astomech Droids (R Series) but does work in the LE Repair and power droid... This is a know and reported bug.

They broke one but fixed 2....... And as usual we will just have to deal with it...

Hey has anyone ever seen a DE or Droid Hotfix patch???? Ever????

You know, I used my R3's repair module just the other day. It didn't work the first try but after i retrained him it worked. Seems like you have to retrain your R series droid each time you want to repair, now that they broke em ...... :-\

We can heal black damage to the droid's HAM bar using a reconstruction kit. However, we can not heal vitality damage todroids with these kits. Something I was deeply dissapointed in.

Pet vitality packs did heal droid vitality damage prior to publish 7, but I have yet to check if they still do.

If anyone knows if pet vitality packs still heal droid vitality, please post it here, as I have run out, but have not been willing to buy more until I know if they still work on droids or not.

WORKED GREAT! I had to reprogram my R2 droid with a different command i.e. I changed it from repair to fix and it worked great... Tried to change it back to the command of repair and boom broken again... Reset it once again to Fix and whalllaaa...

yes, the weekend they totally broke being able to make droids

Thats right... That happened the weekend just prior to me finishing Engineering 4... I started DE later that week...
