Hi.
Sorry to have to ask but what is this with 1 star bandit and 5 star posts? I have seen the stars in the topic lists, but I have never to this date rated any post with any stars. Do I think they are to crappy to evcen recieve 1 star, or is it that they are so well thought up that a 5 star rating would't be nearly enough to let others know how good I think post was? No. I dont rate because, well... I dont know what difference it makes.
Does a 5 starrating go to the top of the list? I thought a new post in the topic was what moved the post to the top
Does a 1 star rating drop it to the last post in the forum? I thought that no posts makes it drop in the list when new posts or replies in other posts are made.
So. Could someone explain to me the importance of the star system other then that it is a quick glance to see if the topic is good or bad from the topic list?
Will those with the most 5 star posts get a forum bonus? WIll those with many 1 star posts get a warning?
I honestly dont know why people are reacting so tough on the 1 or 5 star posts. A dont read a post based on how many stars it go or dont have. I base that on the topic

The star system is largely a waste of time, and is used by 'the Bandit' as a blunt instrument instead oftaking the time to actually post a comment.
Nobody who has spent any time on these forums gives a damn about star ratings anyway.
However, if the Bandit gets some personal gratification out of it, perhaps a boost to a sadly deflated ego then so far as I'm concerned they can just go ahead. Anyonewho thinks couldn't care less anyway.
