Thread: Quirky MDE Problem
sorry srewed up
anyway- MDE, but I'm unable to construct anything from the master levels of the right 3 columns. I can manufacture everything under MDE and all medical/storage module levels, but nothing else. Come to think of it, I cant make "c" repair kits (which I don't think is master level). I've tried crafting with public and private crafting stations; using max possible crafting tool and stations, but the schematics just don't show up in my list of crafting options!!!! Has anyone else experianced this and found a fix/resolution. Its already cost me several sales of late, and I've been a DE long enough to know how slowly sales can be at times.
Any info is much appreciated!

Standing next to a private crafting station gives you access to every schematic you have as an MDE. Make sure it is a Weapon, Droid, Generic Crafting station.
Next, to craft high level stuff, you need the right NAMED resources. I think your problem is you don't have the named resources, so you can't select the components needed.
Did that help? =)

Aye , good call Glantor.Definitely check to make sure you have the right tool/ private crafting station combo. You mustuse the Weapon/Droid/GenericPrivate CraftingStation AND tool to get all the schematics. The Generic crafting tools will not give you all of theschematics at master. Not that Ihave ever have done anything remotely like that before mind you...*cough*
I'm just glad they've decided to make the wep/droid/gen tool work for everything. As far as I know, one can make any item in the game if it is used near the appropriate crafting station now. I've been taking this for granted, and some people report it as a bug, but honestly I think it's just the phasing out of the individual crafting tools. In terms of database load versus game benefit it's just not worth it - having different crafting tools is a negligible gameplay mechanic in terms of crafting complexity and they just end up being redundant items in most people's backpack.
Audio,
Thanks for the heads up on that change. I must have missed that thread or was off doing something else
I did a little experiment tonight and it seems that now I don't need to stand inside my crafting station any more. Nice to know that I was acting like such a goober for all my customers! ![]()
