The biggest problem artisans have is housing space and 99% of that problem is the myriad of resources we have to have. So simple solution is to make a binary load lifter act like a resource backpack -- let it store 100 resources (and only resources) and let it act like a crafting station's hopper so you can access it from the crafting kit (but a binary load lifter shouldn't have a crafting station built in)
Everybody's happy. Load lifters have a great use (and a logical use because all those tons of resources have to be HEAVY) Crafters get their houses back so they can actually decorate a little, droid engineers have a great new market.

Great idea. I don't think this is the only thing BLLs should be able to do, but great idea nonetheless.

Hmmm... I guess some of those old posts still have good ideas in them! Who would've thought? I would love to see the BLL usefull finally. This is a great way to do it.

Look at the history of code revisions in the game ... the devs have reduced personal storage capacity at every opportunity to reduce the strain on the Little Database That Couldn't .... no chance they are going to create an open-ended database multiplier like craftable droids that can hold 100, 50, or even 25 items.
Despite it being a great idea and sorely needed because of other design factors in the game.
