Let Architect create a Device called "Programming Console" (Looks like a Terminal)

Let Master Artisians create Devices calles "Blank Disk" (Item looks like a Data Disk)

Droid Engineer takes a blank disk and put it in a Programming Console.

He uses the console to type in some macro commands for the droid.

"Programmed Disks" comes out.

Droid Engineer takes Disk and feeds it to Droid

Droid can do as many commands on this macro Disk as he has a Data Modul inside. (Like Data Modul II can do 3 commands, etc)

He click "Do Programm" on Droid and the Droid starts with his duty....

That is awesome!

If you could program it to run macros, there are a lot of things to do.

If they had some macros setup specifically for droids, say to auto go to a waypoint you actually saved on the droid, and auto empty harvestor at that waypoint, that would be great.

I am not sure if you would want that code to be hard programmed in the module, allowing your to purchase new modules, force you to buy a new droid, etc.

Definetly cool idea. Too bad my hope for something like this is fading as I see mass exodus from people leaving after 3 months.

Brilliant idea!

I don't think the devs have a clue what to do with the data module. This would be a great start.
