I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find it in the list:

I'm a Novice Droid Engineer. What skill is needed to color droids? Is this skill working now?

Thanks!

Advanced chassis' allow you to colour customize your droid... I'm a 4/4/0/4 DE right now so I don't have much customization skill. I'm hoping that as I increase in that tree I'll get more colours to play with.

The only problem, make a blue R2 advanced, turn it into a droid, turns out red

Refinement tree raises customization skill.

Customization skill does nothing.

Refinement tree is still at 0.

I was hoping to use the /droidcustomize skill that DEs get...

Thank you all for the quick responses. Is there any way to color my R5 droid, since there is no chassis component. Does an Advanced R5 droid offer color?

no coloring doesn't work yet.. they tryied to get but it was buggy yet they didn't removed everything so i speed 20 minutes of each hour answering tells "what does your droids customizzation degrades mean questions"

it will be the droid customization skill mod though.. if it works like tailoring..

I'm a ranger/rifleman and I really want a little R2 unit as a companion, but I'm goin to hold off until the color thing is fixed. I want either a green or a blue one, but definitely not that red/grey scheme. Hope they fix this soon so I can get my droid.

I too am very curious about the /customizedroid command.

Never heard about it until someone asked me a few days ago - as a Master DE, I tried it - and was told I don't have enough skill.

What I'm wondering is how this will work as far as resources/etc. I find it hard to believe that we will just be able to color any droid that walks by - would be cool, but I'm doubting it.

The color customization thing is a big deal to a lot of buyers - it's unfortunate that something seemingly so simple is such a big deal for the developers to be able to fix.
