Topic pretty much says it all. Quality of droids doesn't make any difference for bounty hunters.I.e. droid made by master with expensiveresources isexactly the same as droid made with crappy resources from a bounty hunter point of view. For arakyd droids success rates depend ENTIRELY on bounty hunter +droid skills. Seekers always work the same, and the only thing that changes is the time it takes to locate the target, also regulated by +droid bounty hunter skill.

Big question is... how much do you sell them for? Cause... I've heard some crazy prices...

I packed the Kaadra/Naboo/Bloodfin bazzar with crates fo 5 for 3000 (seekers, not arakyd's). Sadly, they appear in Misc/factory_crates.

I'll see if anyone could find them this evening.

I sell them individually at my shop on Corellia, Kauri, south of Coronet.

I won't make factory crates, because I need the xp for crafting the droids, plus I need my factory for other production, but if you want to purchase individual seekers, I've got 'em listed at 450 credits each.

I'm not a DE, I'm a BH. In other words I'm a consumer and not a producer.

However the only time I ever paid more than 600 for seeker was to try the supposed "high quality" ones, to experiment with them.

I sell single Seekers for 400c each, and crates of 5 for 2500 (500 each). The reason I have an increased price on my crates is because I really need the xp, but I've had alot of requests to sell the crates of seekers.

I sell for 850 now and 850 when the 10 use patch comes out. They are not fun to make and take other master artisan parts, which give you no droid eng xp, or take up factory space and those take 5 different resources. So I think it is based on what your time is worth, what resources you have, and what customers think is fair. I sell them at 850 and that is worth it for me to make them.

Have you looked at the number of resources used in them? With the way things are going on my server (someone wanted to sell me steel at 3:1... the steel had an OQ of 3!!!!) I had to raise my prices on them slightly... I don't think I'll make/sell anymore until I hit master and can mass produce these buggers in crates.

For my purposes it's worth it, because they also give a fair amount of DCXP, and use Master Artisan components which I make myself. Once or twice a week I run my factory for electronic components, and I'm good to go.

I run my factory every day churning out GP, EMM, Control Units etc.

Seriously considering getting either another factory or buying the modules. (Which would not be good for the end price)

For the sake of the original poster - quality doesn't do anything for ANY DROIDS not just BH droids.

They really need an edit button...

By the way, I wouldn't buy anything from droid engineers selling 'high quality', 'excellent experimental values', or any tag line as such unless they are newbor they are trying to scam people who don't know any better.
