Thread: ....um is this normal?
So i made my first R5 today (ok so second, first was a crit fail *rolls eyes*) i tame it just cause i wanna keep my first one, pull it out and.....its lite blue? I figure ok ill mess with that later, pull out a Treadwell and customize it red for the fun and put that one away. Now lets try customizing the R5....huh??? its now dark blue. So i pull it out over and over and over...Light Blue, Dark Blue, Grey, White, Green, Yellow....its a neverending color change every time i pull it out! lol OK now this has to be a bug, anyone else have this problem?

Astromechs are randomly colored until customized. After customization, the droid will hold it's color through 20 call/store cycles, and then go back to random colors.
Yes, it's stupid. I should be able to set the base color of the droid at build time.
Really?! Bahahahaha! that is a good selling point though, just whip that puppy out a couple of times and go "see I outfitted it with a custom painting module so you dont get bored with the same color!"
Dang I have gooottt to make one of those! Can someone on the Naritus server sell me some freakin extrusive ore please! You should try to sell those to entertainers. Man some of this crap, you have to laugh.
Actually, I have had customers /tell me, wow, that is so cool, how did you make the droid change colors like that all the time.
When I tell them that it is a bug, these people respond with, "Well, I hope they don't fix it"....
One man's bug, another man's feature, I guess....
When you customize it, if you make the frame the first white in the pallete, it usually won't hold.
I swear, I got it to work once... but maybe I clicked on the second "white" by accident.
