Thread: Couple of Questions from a new DE
I am somewhat new to the profession and have a few questions if you don't mind helping out. I have scanned the boards and found them to be very helpful but I want to make sure that I understand a few things.
1. I made a few Advanced Probots the other day and it appears that experimentation does not make a difference in the final product (not until the final construction). The results on the final product were all the same no matter what the quality of all the parts that went into the droid. I used a 994 OQ chemical and could get 827 HAM probots. Is this normal? Does experimentation do anything except during the final stage on any of the droids?
2. The controls and info for some of my droids do not show up on my datapad or on others. I was told that this was a bug and I just wanted to verify.
3. When making a Probot, it does not seem to make a difference if I put in one armour module or two. Does that matter? The results seem to be the same in the end.
4. Is there any way to heal the HAM on a droid when out in the battlefield? I know that you can make droids with repair modules but I think that those only heal wounds.
Thank you very much for any help,

1. Yes; experimentation really does nothing. And the probot may say 827 HAM in the datapad, but there are caps in place and when you call it out it only has 820.
2. It is a bug
3. It depends on what armor module(s) you are using. They are stackable, but the max armor you can get is medium armor with 40% resists, which can be obtained by 2 lvl 4 or 1 lvl 6. Putting two lvl 6 modules give no added bonus.
4. The repair module only heals wounds, no way to heal HAM right now. Some DEs say that sometimes their repair modules randomly heal the HAM, but they are all shooting up the pixie dust me thinks (as most DEs do!)
2) It's a bug.
3) Not quite sure what you mean: Do you mean two level 6 armor modules? Because two level 4 modules stack to equal one level 6, and that's the maximum possible armor for a droid: 40% resist medium-grade.
4) *sigh* No. Only time. Although occasionally when repairing black damage on droids, the white damage they have goes away.
WOW! As always I have to give props to this board for the quick and friendly help! Thank you very much!!
