I've searched the boards but can't find any answer on this question. What is the difference between chasis and droid deeds? chasis don't seem to be needed to make a deed, so what is their purpose? and if they do the same thing, what is their purpose? sorry, i'm a new aspiring DE and have no clue what my own skills do. thanks for the help in advance.

Chassis are required for the advanced versions of these droid deeds:

R2
R3
R4
3PO Protocol
Binary Load Lifter
Probot
21B Surgical
LE Repair

Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.

A chassis is the physical frame of the droid. A chassis can be dropped like furniture in your house. But chassis will not function in the world, it is only an object. A deed is the complete droid, that must be "Tamed". The deed can be sold or traded etc. Once the deed is tamed, you get a droid control device in your datapad. After thisyou must use transfer command or trade itfrom datapad. So it is basically a pet, once it it tamed.
