Isnt this game wonderful? Spend 4-5 hours searching planet after planet for a good amount of steel to drop a harvester and once you finally find a spot and place it you know full well that the next day some code that the devs have written will make that nice 70% go away... not to mention remove steel from that planet entirely.

Oh yes, I know the devs want money sinks but come on back to reality. Of the last 10 times i've attempted to drop a harvester that exact scenario has occured. It wouldnt be so bad if I would at least get over 1k of steel at least that way it would be a little better than doing like i've had to do for the last month and half- buy very highly priced steel from the bazaar. Instead of being a DE I'm now a money hungry mission runner... so my questions are these....

1) How long until we get something for DE that gives better XP than 'Advanced Droid Frames' if we had some selection maybe we wouldnt have to grid that one item out a couple thousand times
(at least some of the items now do give XP... thank you for that)

2) When and how often do you Devs change resources (or in my experience remove them entirely... kinda like extrusive ore which wasnt on any bria planet for a long long time) -- this way I will know when to plant a harvester and get more than 4 hours of use out of it.... if its just code- fix it... I'm a programmer also- I know about mistakes... I wont hold it against you But For The Love Of The Force let me get more than 4 hours use out of my harvesters

Some Ideas...

1) Droid Components and Droids give more XP....

2) Instead of having the Resources just disappear... how about just having them reduce in concentration.. /gasp theres an idea
but dont totally remove a basic material like steel, copper, ironfrom a planet

3) give a cheer for the devs for actually giving it their best... and having a nice game to play
/CHEER

Ok enough of that... I really do think you guys have done a good job with the game. Keep up the good work.

Long Live the Future Droid Empire....

PS.... Please no ravingDev Haters...

what planet are you harvesting from? on our server i find that talus is great for harvesting.on the major planets, any new resources pops up and theres 392348923489 harvesters there within a day, but on talus the resources lasted a while.

bria

I dropped my harvester on talus 2 days ago on some steel then logged- came back the next day and no steel so moved to corellia dropped did mission logged, came back this morning and all steel on corellia is missing so I came back to talus to check on my solar harvester and found a location of steel on talus again- crossing fingers for a few weeks this time..... but none of my friends will take me up on the bet that it will be gone by tomorrow

you've got to get them while theyre fresh on talus. I guess www.swgcraft.com has resource charts to show when a new one pops in, but ive never used them. i would just keep on checking my surverying tool and when id see a new one, id go find it.

now i just buy all my resources, and since i make very few droids, it works out well for me.
