Hey everyone just made Master Droid Engineer last night.

I've done my research on these boards and i know its a risky and hard profession right now but i feel like it will get better, especially with Publish 8 and the new modules that will bring. A couple question tho

what experimentation boosts up Droid HAM? or is the HAM capped?

Will publish 7 make it so that resources qualities will have a greater effect?

Can a droid have multiple crafting stations?
With publish 7 is the armor module being nerfed again? Or will we still have the 40% medium armor on probots

Nope, you aren't the only MDE left on the Naritus server. There are a scant few of us left...myself included. But I haven't sold a single droid in almost 3 months, so I've taken up Pistoleer and amused myself with questing for Stormtrooper armor instead of sitting in my house for hours crafting droids or spending my time making factory/harvester runs.

There simply isn't much of a market for droids on our server at the moment. Even with all the "changes" being made to our profession in Publish 7 and 8, I've gotten a few /tells in-game by combat players that have made fun of how much of a joke and how useless CL 10 combat R2s will be. I completely agree with them...they aren't telling me anything that many of us don't already know.

But unfortunately, the "pure crafter" camp has a stranglehold on this issue, so I won't go into a lengthy rant about it. They got exactly what they wanted...but many of them are suddenly learning the all-important lesson: "Careful what you wish for"

The new droids on Test Center are much more difficult to make than the current droids on live serversand there are some TC DEswho have hintedthat some new required components are loot drops or something to that effect(though I haven't confirmed this as "truth"). I'm simply going to sit back and watch how people respond to our new "Novelty Droids" and then decide if DE is going to be a viable profession or not before I start cranking droids out like I did back in the day.

oh hey! i was wondering if ACME still had a mde left. i've looked for the past months and could find no active MDE's anymore, so i've been learning the craft by myself and on these forums.

true, people don't seem too interested in the droid's right now, but i think that can change . my ingame name is nursebetty if u dont know who i am, would u possibly like to meet to compare some droids? also possibly sell me some of the specici resources for DE? ie lidium and dioxis!

C'mon - you know you've seen me around too...

Oh how quickly people forget about good ole gravity...

Hey - if you don't already have those resources, I'll see what I can dig up. I'm in the middle of moving alot of my warehouse storage to MQ from Rori (/growl ebo) and everything is a mess right now, but I'm sure I can come up with whatever you need.

Another MDE on Naritus...

I think its interesting you say there's no market for droids on Naritus. I've been making about a million a week over the last month selling droids.

Business has been brisk to say the least.

Since my shop has been in the same location for the last six months and is usually well stocked, I find that more and more players are sending me referrals.

Is your shop the "Ye Olde Droid Shoppe" at the northern most edge of the shopping center that has cropped up south of Coronet?
