Don't you know this is the new Droid Technology. They have to change colors to get under the noses of the Imperial Crackdown. HEHE.
Just another Foul Up for Droids and an insult to our profession. I guess making options to color your vehicle were more important than making colors stick to your droid.
If I remember correctly, they had posted somewhere that they fixed this issue...I guess the joke is on us and my chain is getting longer and longer from them yankin it, let me tell you.

On one hand, yes, I'd like to see the bug fixed - on another, most people are quite amused by how it works. What would be really neat is if it were an option kept when the bug is fixed - but I highly doubt that will happen.
It's a nice thought though.

Well I think I will get another, this time with a storage module, so I canbuy some of those bridges the architects are selling....

I'm one of the 'amused'. I like that my R2, Wonky, comes out different looking everytime I call him. He's like a mechanical mood ring 
They should make paint stick, but leave this option.
My r2 does the same thing, I was about to ask this but you beat me to the punch. Anyone know why this is? Or is it a special DE only joke on us, that has some inside meaning?

Actually, it's just a bug that occurs when the paint wears off. You can get it fixed by getting it repainted.
