This is dumb, plain and simple, the DH is a really really dumb idea.
Sorry devs, i really think this isnt the right idea here. Droids arent beasts that take time to train and tame, droids are built by droid engineers that know the droid inside out. The droid engineer knows EXACTLY how the droids work, who else should better command them then the droid engineer.
The Droids are also not infantry that need tactics to fight, unless you are talking about a large group of them, thats a different story.
Droids are simply either efficient helpers or killing machines.
Bottom Line, the DH proffesion either should add some really kick ass abilities, and I mean REALLY kick ass abilities, or there really should be any at all.

The highlighted portion of your post is direcly contradictory to the previous part of your post, in which you are right.
Since nobody is talking about large groups of droids, there is no direct link, and so Droids ARE simply efficient helpers OR killing machines. As such there needs be no limitation, so long as everyone gan get one at some cost. Certifications = skillpoints spent in the relevant tree. After that it's the Devs job to balance it.

Not so sure about that. The high level droid stims seem geared at CL10+ droids. With their stated opposition to droid certs for all, this patch seems a precursor to DH. This is the DH patch without the DH.
