CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell

On this topic, sort of, I've had a long standing question....Does *anything* other than the 110% med module on a droid have an effect on doctor buffing? I can swear my probot works better than my R3 droid, but everything I have is the dang same, do models matter(r2,3,surgical,etc)? What about experimentation on sub-components?

Can the modules that go into droids for crafting stations be experimented on so that the mod is increased? Like how the in house crafting stations can get up to like +42. Or does this rating even affect the actual results from the use of the station?

Any reply would be greatly appreciated.

There is no evidence that a fully-experimented crafting station is superior to a non-experimented one. Most DE's will experiment on them anyway, but it is my belief that it doesn't make a difference either way.

Droid Crafting stations have quality from 1-12 (I believe).

Thing is, currently the quality of it does not matter. You can get a crafting station droid from a novice DE with 0 experimentation and crappy resources and it will do just as good as a Master DE, full experimentation and 1000 quality resources. This is just one nerf in our bag of nerfsfor DE. Don't look for anyone to talk about changing it.

How do we know? Well a few people have run tests comparing experimentation success/% output/failures between droid crafting stations and +42 Crafting Stations and posted results in this forum in the past. I am too lazy to look it up, but you can I guess.

Anyhow, hope that helps.

I personally would like to see a direct quotation, from a developer, corroborating your statements and assertions. Would you mind locating it andposting it here such we can all have the "facts in evidence?"

Until I see such a posting, I'll consider all such statements as hearsay and subjective in nature.

- Account: Master TKA (cancelled)
- Account: Master Doctor (cancelled)
- Account: Smuggler (cancelled)
- Account: Master Chef (cancelled)
- Account: Master Droid Engineer (activity suspended pending developments)
Total loss of annual revenue (SOE): ~$715US to ~$900US
- Bad press: Priceless
Should Sony and Lucas Arts be worried? (15000 users * 5 accts = ~$13MIL in potential lost gross annual revenue) If I were the CEO for either LA or SOE, I would certainly be worried.

Thing is, no Dev has ever posted such a thing. Most of these educated guesses are based on actual in-game tests and conjecture. Experimentation doesn't matter on anything else we do, why these?

Wow, a forum Noob trying to jump the gun.

Way back when...I would say in October/November...someone posted information about an in-game test they ran.

This individual ran an experiment to test the difference between Droid Crafting Stations and +42 crafting stations.

He ran something like 350 (if memory serves correctly) tests on each station (Droid Crafting Station vs. Personal Crafting Station)

His experiment showed a conclusion that there was pretty much no difference between the 2. Something like the Droid Crafting Station came out with 35 (or something) failures on assembly and the Personal Crafting Station had something like 32 failures on assembly. He used the same materials and the same schematic for the test.

You want something from the DEVs or SOE??? HAHAHA...that shows your true newness to the forums. They neither show concern nor care for the DE community. You will soon find this out in time. We must support ourselves with the minimal capabilities we have.

I attempted to find the thread where the individual posted these findings, but after searching through the first 3501 posts out of some 15000, I became ill with faith in SOE's forum archiving techniques and gave up. You are more than welcome to seek out this informatoin for yourself. But I was here to read it, and I personally use both types of crafting stations, and I can say that his findings continue to ring true for me and others I talk to.

I've gotten a Food Station to 13 using 994 CD Copper. I'm guessing 14 is the ultimate 100% Max.

And no, I made a huge mistake with my droids stations but used it anyway, and it performs better than the temporary 15.83 Weapon, Droid, Generic Item Craftion station I have in my house. (Yes, I know, 15 sucks, was the only one I could find and I've got an order in for a better one.)
