They know droids will never live up to their movied counterparts. They know they have nothing wonderous in store for us. They know we are all on the verge of cancelling our account and playing something else. They know we are just about fed up with their statements saying all this good stuff one day and obliterating our hope the next. They know they don't care about us or our want to feel a bit more part of Star Wars than we do at the moment.

With droids being what many say "The eye of the beholder" for the original movies, the lack thereof in this game is outrageous. This game truely and honestly does not feel anything like Star Wars to me now that I sincerely think about it. Sure you have your 2 factions and Jedi running around along with some poor renditions and lack of interaction between faction leaders (Vader, Leia, etc...) and players ("Oh, go kill this for me." OOOH! Real interaction there!), but nothing really says "Star Wars" to me in this game. It feels like another rip off of some other MMORPG out there.

My point? Well they are keeping us all as long as they can. Taking our money, using us and playing our emotions are their game. I can not wait until something more interesting comes out. I might even go back to some other game. I am starting to wonder why I gave this game such high reviews on our guild website. I think I might go back and add a "supplimental" paragraph showing the unkindness, uncaring and worthless attempts at making this game fun for players.

I hope this game BOMBS in the next 6 months. I hope it is overwhelmed by players leaving to play a game such as World of Warcraft. I hope SOE learns about the mistake they have made. I hope their design and development team sit on a hot fryer and get their asses burned like we have as DE over the last 9 months. Their attempt at satisfaction for us has been pathetic and "useless." I could go for making a real droid to go over and kick their hind ends in their little coffee-filled, goof off deveoloper room.

Well....no 1-star for you.

Whoever the 'bandit' is...you may as well stop. I'm going to personally spend time 5-starring every post that I see.

So, don't waste your time, Mr. worthless 1-star coward.

I feel your frustration. It is OK. And I have left the world of DE (did it ever really exist). My retired DE has found a new love - Master Doctor with a bit of TKA (Master TKA in training). On my secondary account I found that I would embrace the love SOE gave to the CH profession and I have a toon who is two boxes shy of MCH (and she is Master Medic, with some Pistol).

I have a huge urge to go home tonight and rename my kick butt pets. Assuming there might be a battle with the word filter, my beasts will be named in honor of: Roger-Rogers, Droideka's, IG88 and a host of others.

Peace,

Ho'Gi

Well, I don't intend to stay at all if the profession isn't fun to play after our next 2 patches. Switching classes doesn't hurt SOE at all, but pushing that cancel button does. I log on a total of maybe 30 minutes every other day or so anymore. It has gotten old and stale and I may sell 1 droid every other day. What's the point ?

Gribnitz,

People you, me and anyone else that plays to be a full-time MDE are pretty much an afterthought, it seems.

I foresee a lot of DEs going the way of the dodo very soon...which makes me sad. It didn't have to be that way. They only needed to stop hiding behind their 'curtain' and just start dealing straight with us.

I don't think that's ever happened for DEs (since even before launch).
