1) WIth the loot revamp an almost uncraftable schematic was added to help DEs. Will it ever be made in such a way to allow wider availability? (INfamous DE Belt that required a Droid Repair Kit [R.I.P.])

2) Since combat droid powerlevels were supposed to reflect the combat rebalance, now that the rebalance isn't happening can thier power level be upped?

I actually have one of those. Bought it the day that P7 was pushed live. I know this has been brought up but I'm not sure where it lies in the priority set. I know that the older repair kits are around...they are just very hard to come by.

The issue of DE craftable clothing et al is something that I have on my list of items (though its not at the top).

2) Since combat droid powerlevels were supposed to reflect the combat rebalance, now that the rebalance isn't happening can thier power level be upped?

We'll see....maybe is the best I can do here. I don't want to say it IS going to happen. That kind of thing tends to end up causing trouble.

I know that the combat power of our droids is an issue, one that's near the top. Exposing a higher end market is something we'd all like to see and so I'm exploring how to try to address that.

I know y'all are Ameri-centric but if you happen to be playing on a Euro-Server, there is not a snowball's chance in hell that you can get the elusive item, how ever many credits you have. They never existed.

It's the accumulation of small pinpricks over time that causes one to bleed to death.

How hard can this really be to fix? Even if the fix didn't work we would be no worse off than we are.

A side note: the rebalance IS still happening, it's just been pushed back a bit so they can tweak it some before pushing it to TC.

OMFG, Shian you just completely summed up the DE's situation. Sorry to take the thread off topic but i almost cried when i read that. It might have to replace my friends quote at the bottom of my sig.

The repair kit / DE toolbelt issue is a nonstarter for me. We've lived without the toolbelt this long, we're not missing anything if it doesn't get fixed for a few months. There are much bigger fish to fry that have been in queue for much longer, IMO.

With this, I agree. We really do have larger issues than this, annoying though it is...

As stated, the Tailor Corr. has general toolkit issues already in discussion so there might well be movement on this anyway.

For now, I want to rework our new Top 5 issues now that some things are starting to get put behind us (battery use, ability to repair via stims, etc.).

Would we want to give up a major bug fix of some other kind to get this?

Or give up work on combat droid balance or a new module?

Those are the types of tradeoffs we have to consider.

I will definitely put forth the Repair Kit situation to see if it can be remedied so that these can be made once again. How soon it will occur is a matter of how much of a priority we (and they) place upon it.

Right now, I just can't say what that is...

Thanks for staying on this, everyone. The idea of DE enhanced wearable is a larger item that I'd really like to take on with them (perhaps in one of the mini-publishes happening prior to Space).

TK- one question...

Why even bother putting the **selfedit** thing in the game if it's not craftable?!? This is going to be the downfall of this game... poor internal QA, the complete and utter disregard for things that actually WORK, and the visible lack of pride by the coders/developers.

Obviously, THEY DON'T CARE. If they did, a lot less broken crap would be introduced into the game without fixing the stuff that's been broken forever. You think the coders/devs would have a lot more pride in their work, to actually want to produce stuff that works....

My account's up on the 27th... I'm out of here...

Or give up the repair of a bug that has been in the DE profession for over 6 months????

Come on TK421... I know you need to keep the corrdinator hat on but are publishes 7 & 8 supposed to be our turn in line? They cannot fix a single schematic??? It is nearly to the point were ANY fix for the DE community is like escaping from a Prison (although it has been done in the past.. the spoon used to escape alcatraz is no longer craftable...)

THEY REVAMPED THE CHEF PROFESSION IN ONE PUBLISH! we cannot even get a loot item schematic fixed in 2 publishes without sacrafice???

TK--

Thanks. I realize that the Belt is craftable (Assuming your not on a European server) but the Repair kits are even rarer than the Heavy Duty Clasps and they aren't being created anymore. I am exasperated that the Devs either didn't see that this particular schematic would be so much harder to create than any of the others they came out with at the same time (lack of foresight) or that they didn't feel it was as important (lack of empathy). Very simply of the other schematics there is an infinite supply of the parts necessary (Loot drops or resource spawns) but this one has a finite supply of one component and there has not been a public statement about the plans to fix it, I haven't even seena public acknowledgement that a problem exists.

Death of a Thousand cuts is what this profession is facing.

Again off topic, but at this point I realize anything the Devs say will happen in a month or two is likely to be completely different by the time they actually release it.

They will probably end the rebalance by unlocking the MMORPG level of the game to give people who are bored with the FPS game we are currently playing. But only after you kill Leia, Vader and Lando.
