Well, I broke tradition and never made the "New Master DE" post, so here goes...

I give up. The devs for this game, IMO, just don't care. They introduce new, broken content in the game and don't get around fixing it for months on end. There's no evident pride from the Dev Team or there wouldn't be so much broken content in the first place. If the Devs/Programmers had any pride in their work, they wouldn't let itgolivebeing so broken.

It's unreal to me that they have no clue (even 9 months in) how to implement droids into a Star Wars game. There have been plenty of suggestions on these boardsfor good DE content, and we've gotten nothing. Stuff is either "too difficult to program" or "extra checkers".

Honestly, it makes me sick to think about it.

Anyway, I wish the rest of you good luck fighting the Good Fight (tm). I'll be around until the 27th when my account expires. I may come back at some point when the Ostriches at SOE get their heads out of the sand.

Leaving the game. The Star Wars name kept me hanging on this long, and the so-called "Droid Invasion" was really the last straw. With no hope for Publish 8, I've just lost the joy I used to get from this game.

I'll never forget my first day in Beta, when I heard Tie Fighters flying overhead, and just sat there on a hill outside of Coronet and listened for like 15 minutes, just doing nothing but looking up and listening to the various ships. I was in complete awe.

A lot of it is the Wow factor wearing off, and the rest of it is an absolute lack of attention to "Star Warsiness". I may be back with the Space Expansion, I really hope they can do that right. I'm not too optimistic though, given how they've treated the "Star Warsy" classes....

Again, good luck to the rest of you, I'm just tired of waiting for DE to get better...

Sorry to see you go Ootwo, I really am. Think you are the last MDE that I know on Radiant, besides me

Gonna miss you but I really hope that you find something out there that you enjoy. And, as always, whether it be in game or in real life......

I don't know you guys but I am also sorry to see you go......Us Droid Engineers are the missing link to Star Wars Galaxies....

Suggestion - why doesn't somebody make a website dedicated to the Gamers review of Star Wars Galaxies that is searchable by people actually looking for the Star Wars Subject over the internet.

I bet if most of the people on these forums posted a review of the game the Devs would have to fix thinkgs up instead of reading playboy or drinking coffee or what ever they do besides there jobs.....

(I really don't think it's so bad but it pisses me off when people quite the game over the lack of attention certain aspects of the game get, I mean what the hell does creature handler have to do with star wars anyway)

Sorry to see you go, friend (assuming this isn't April Fool's, heh). Best of luck to you.

There's still a few Radiant DE's out there, Micco included, it's just that they're much fewer than when they were few.

I'm sure we all know how you feel, I also find it incomprehensible that our Dev Team havetreated the DE profession so very badly.

I really do think someone up there hates us, and no amount of being told that they are 'trying' really alters that perception.

I hope, one day, you find what you are looking for.

Sorry to see this posting, as well as the others who are deciding to leave DE or SWG. I didn't get a chance to know most of the long-term players and it is a sad thing.

although I haven't been a DE as long as you.Elitros just started making droids again too. But of course it's a shame to lose you Ootwo. I hope you come back for the Space Expansion
