We need another word or phrase to replace Tame(ing) for when a player first calls the droid from the deed. Tame no longer applies and will confuse newbies. Ready(ing) is too common of a word and can be confused easily too. Any suggestons? Maybe Call? Create? Undeed? Slap-mah-*****-up?

I've always used the term 'activate'.

"Go ahead and activate your droid and I'll change the colors for you."

hmm. have you guys made any of the new droids? it already has been changed. The replaced "tame" with "ready droid unit" in publish 7.

Indeed.

I always thought "Compile" would have been more appropriate. Ready Droid Unit is okay...I guess I should start using "Ready" instead of "Tame".

How about "activate" ...

Oh who cares? At least we got rid of "Tame" and that's the important thing.

Focus on more important things.

Like :

* Why is the limited schematic for "droid tool set" still the only schem that require items no longer in game?

* Why can't we use numbers in our droid names (easy solution - random droid-name with numbers at "ready", if renamed current name rule applies so we don't have to see droids named D1CK, A55 and CUN7)

* Why is the construction of combat modules and final assembly the only times experimenation actually matter?

I could go on and on ... and has been since beta ...

"Compile" is great and along the same lines, "Assemble" would work with double meaning...such as...

Some Assembly required, debugger (and batteries) not included.

And once you have succeeded in getting your Droid to "Hello World!", you need to start looking at the really complicated stuff..... like user input...
