Howdy.
Just a few basic questions that aren't really answered in guides or FAQs because they change frequently with patches and stuff.
1) When constructing a droid with 110 Medical Capability Rating (MCR), does it require only one Level 6 Medical Module?
2) Will a Level 6 Medical Module have 110 MCR regardless of quality? Does quality effect it at all?
3) Would a Level 3 and Level 4 Medical Module stack to create the equivalent of a Level 6 (110) MCR?
4) What's the most popular configuration for a doctor's droid? Just a surgical droid with a 110 MCR? Or an R2 with MCR and item storage?
5) Is there a point to taking the trouble to build combat droids at this point? I'm thinking that I'll wait to produce these in any large number until after Publish 8 (if at all). Armor is essentially useless, after all, though R3 Adv. droids can have some decent HAM and combat capability ratings. (What's up with an R3 being more powerful than an Adv. Probot anyway? *grumble*)
6) How many factories do you have and what components are the most necessary (besides the more obvious Elec. GP or EMMs)?
I really appreciate any help you can offer.

yep
2) Will a Level 6 Medical Module have 110 MCR regardless of quality? Does quality effect it at all?
yes, no
3) Would a Level 3 and Level 4 Medical Module stack to create the equivalent of a Level 6 (110) MCR?
yes, Also, 2 well experimented level 3's will as well
4) What's the most popular configuration for a doctor's droid? Just a surgical droid with a 110 MCR? Or an R2 with MCR and item storage?
I've seen a lot of R2's with 110 MCR, food/chem crafting station, and item storage. Surgicals with 110MCR and food/chem crafting are also pretty popular.
5) Is there a point to taking the trouble to build combat droids at this point? I'm thinking that I'll wait to produce these in any large number until after Publish 8 (if at all). I don't know, I've sold quite a few combat droids, and most of my customers are satisfied with them (though I did make sure they understood they weren't any good for dantooine/dathomir and other less than hospitable places). As for the R3 being more powerful, it all depends on what you need. The probot will do quite a bit more damage, but can't survive nearly as long. So a melee character who can tank just fine themselves would benefit more from a probot, where as a ranged combat character would be best off with an LE (since its got the most HAM).
6) How many factories do you have and what components are the most necessary (besides the more obvious Elec. GP or EMMs)?
I've got 1, plus full access to 2 others. I'd say all the parts are important, but brains, sensors, advanced motive systems, combat modules, any any parts they take either sub parts or quite a few different types of resources are the best. Its not too hard to crank out advanced frames whenever you need them by hand since its only 2 resources and doesn't take much time.
I really appreciate any help you can offer.
