Hi All,

Just a few questions for a new MSE who's branching out into astromechs and flight computers.

What does an astromech droid need other than a data module? Some one told mepilots don't take their astromechs out of their ships so there is no purpose to putting other modules in them. Is this right?

If so (or not) what's the difference between astandard R5 astromech and an advanced R3 astromech?

Last question: I know what only X-Wing, Y-Wing and Z-95 take astromechs. How about the Jedi Starfighter?

Thanks in advace.

1) An astromech only needs the data module in order for it to be usable in a ship.
2) Droids aren't "inserted" in a ship, it's assigned. So when you're not piloting, the droid is accessible at any time just like any other droid. So by all means, add stuff to it!
3) The differences between astromech models is module capacity. That's it.
4) The JSF needs an astromech.
