Actually, I agree with you to an extent on your main point. I think they should at *least* be on the tier4 of a column if not Master.

I think we'd see a lot more MDE's if that were the case.

I completely agree! I too have encountered cheap BHs. Why they are so cheap is beyond me. They're the richest class in the game.

BH Droids to Master box! Absolutely!

I think putting each one in a different teir 4 tree would be great.

I wasnt aware why I saw so much cheap seekers and arakyds on bazaar. Then I saw a few of the same names on trade forums bidding on obvious DE resources. In their signatures was MBH titles followed by some arrogant bravado bleh. Anyway, after chatting around with a few peeps who know these individuals, it turns out they use alts to make their own seekers and arakyds. They then dump their extras on the open market which really hurts the legitimate droid engineers.

And its not just a few credits, these kids are selling crates of seekers (x25) for 20k. Totally makes me look like a thief for selling them for 100k for same crate size x25.

The problem is similiar to launch day when anyone could control a nasty graul mauler at 2/0/0/0 CH. Devs saw this error and nerfed it thankfully. But now these same type of players have gravitated to another unfair situation. They only need 0/0/0/3 to make all their seekers and arakyds. And since experimentation doesnt matter, a 12 point master DE cant even make them better. This is simply unacceptable.

Of course the problem goes further than this. The type of player who does this isnt interested in the player economy and lacks the intelligence to comprehend the ramifications if crafters become rare. I spoke to one the other day like this. A bh was farming the gdk at Kimo city. I brought up the conversation about droids and where he might shop. He stated he made his own (xxx3). I said well I notice you use a probot and wouldnt some nice droid d repair kits be handy, and i sell them, etc. His reply was he'd rather his droid blow up than heal it and use inventory space on them. Plus he didnt want to spend the credits !!! The guy probably makes 2-3 million a day just on gdk scales and he's concerned about spending 75k on a 25 crate of stims lol. And since he doesnt rely on DE's to make him a success and able to perform tasks, punks like this have no incentive to care that I succeed.

Sorry to rant, but its so frustrating to have 100+ crates of droid repair kits on my vendor that go unsold. And then to find out peeps are using an alt with very few skill points to avoid spending some credits. And if any crafter needs the credits its us. We dont have loot made droids to sell. Our bread and butter is BH droids. Please oh please make this a master box item.

Another voice to the chorus, something should be done. I like the idea of moving them to master.

What does your droid have to say?

Jetpacks crafted = 0 | Mando crafted = 0

I agree to an extent. If Droids overall were as good as they should be, then BH droids are fine as is. However if this suppossed Droid revamp is more then say a month or two off, then yes move them to Master.

I think I'd put my name to it,if as has been pointed out, they got moved to seperate boxes of DE, or Master for that matter.

Failing that, or even in addition, allow us to be able to experiment on, for example, the number of charges the droid has. Make the default about 5 charges per "droid" and allow experimentation up to a maximum of 20, that would also bring resource quality into the mix. This would make these droids a little more fun to make, rather than just chuck as much crap in a factory as possible and sit back and twiddle your thumbs.

Agreed. If we could use experimenting on them, that would make a MDE's BH droids more valuable than the 0003 DE's.

Being able to experiment on more things is always welcome. If they add experimentation, then they wouldn't need to move them up very much farther. Maybe the Seeker in a tier 3 box, and Arakyds a tier 4 (different tree's). After all, the Arakyd somehow manages to pack a hyperdrive in that little body.

im glad we all agree in part that something should be done. Whether that will happen is another thing sigh.

Honestly I think this hurts us more than anything. The one profession we rely on for sales more than other is BH. We need to make sure our main is something that requires a large investment in skill points and discourages the dabblers wanting to avoid participation in our player economy. Otherwise these WoW players will just make their own gear.

I saw that a lot in my limited time over there. Most players over there simply made another toon to handle items they couldnt make. They simply were not interested in a viable economy.

Just about every other droid has a basic and advanced version, so why not the seekers/arakyds? Keep the basic versions andtone them down to the point where any "real" BH would think "wow these stink... I can't believe how long I have to wait for these stupid droids and they're usually off by at least 100 meters." Then you can have the advanced versions (faster, more precise, and craftable only by your friendly neighborhood MDE) usable by more experienced bounty hunters.
