Just want to start by saying that this game is Awesome!

Now I have some questions.

1. Can I wear a cloak over my regular armor? I have a bone chestplate, a shoulderpad, bone leggins

and a bone helmet.

2.When I get ahold on a deed for a house, can I put it anywhere I want to? (within reasonable limits)

3. Requirements. I bought a helmet for 3000 creds the other day and when I tried toput it on it said

Iwasnthealthyenough. The encumberence on health was like 80 or something...

4. Guilds. What different guilds are there? Howdo I join a guild?I know there are guild hallsall over town

but there doesn't seems to be any recruiter or information about the guild...

5.Are the trandoshans unable to wear any gloves or boots?

6. Dont answer this one, but I just have to ask. How do I become a Jedi?

Hey there, I can answer some of those....

1) Yes you can, I wear a full set of bone armor and wear a cloak. Its a good way to hide your armor from your enemy

2) Yes, you can place your house in most places, once you are far enough away from a city. I think the place you want to put it must be pretty flat, and you cant place over rocks and the like.

3) Not too sure about this one. Im sure if you search the forums you'll find something. There was a bug about this awhile back, im sure its fixed now though.

4) NPC guilds, well, not too sure about that either. Most cities have them, but you cant seem to do anything in them. Do a search for this as well.

5) I know a few species are unable to wear some clothing/armor. Im a human, and we are luckily enough to wear anything. Wookies cant wear most things, and I do think you are correct in saying that Trandoshans cant wear boots and gloves, but I do think that is the only limits they have in regards to clothing.

I hope this helps in some way, remember, the 'Search' function can be your best friend

Enjoy the game....

Your question about guilds: AFAIK you can't join the npc guilds in the cities. Really all that happens there is training and maybe missions. The guilds you can join are player run. First go to the board that is assigned to your galaxie. Once there, look for information on player associations. I know that Lowca, my server, has a sticky where the PAs make a post about their guild. Usually included are the name, goals and qualifications needed to become a member. Hope this helps.

Oh, about houses: I have found it difficult to put houses where ever you might want them. There are areas that are no build and areas where the terrain won't support placing a house there. If you don't care where it is or how far from the city it is, you may fair better.

First of all, since I have changed jobs I haven't had much time to play. Neither have I had much time to read this (or any other) forum.

Therefore, I appreciate your patience with me as I ask questions that might make me seem ignorant or that are answered elsewhere.

1. When I experiment on my droids, how do the various options (efficiency, durability, etc) effect the final product?

2. Is there any correlation between armor modules and resists? For example, I put two level 3 armor modules into an advanced R2 unit and got a droid with 40% resists. The same thing happened with an LE droid. But later I got an R2 droid with onlu 20% resists. I don't get it.

3. Do all combat droids now have ranged and melee options?

4. Will non-combat modules work in the combat cluster?

Thank you for your help!

Effectiveness (the middle row) on the final construction will give you higher HAM. There is some evidence that quality will give you higher damage, but haven't seen any hard facts on it. Combat modules can be experimented on (effectiveness again) for higher damage/faster speed.

2. Is there any correlation between armor modules and resists? For example, I put two level 3 armor modules into an advanced R2 unit and got a droid with 40% resists. The same thing happened with an LE droid. But later I got an R2 droid with onlu 20% resists. I don't get it.

Right now the armor is buggy. The first time you call out a droid it will list its true armor level (20% resists for well experimented level 3's), after that it will jump up to 40% no matter what was in it (not sure if its only a display bug or if it actually acts as 40)

3. Do all combat droids now have ranged and melee options?

No, the LE is melee only. I believe the rest are both.

4. Will non-combat modules work in the combat cluster?

Yep. In fact, combat droids require combat clusters (regular ones won't fit) so you'll be using a lot more of these.

Thank you for your help!

I was curious about this so did a bit of ikopi killing with an R3. It appears the resists are 40%. The combat spam hits were reduced by 40% not 20% displayed as actual damage to the droid above its head.

1) Depends on your faction, and is only for Knights

2) Nope, any will do.

3) 300+ Dead since the CU, and when they did drop something it was lame. Best I got from an Elder was x1 Clasp!
