Thread: Bounty Hunter Droids.

I just recently put up crates of seekers and probes on my vendor, I noticed most people sell them in crates of 5 so I decided to leave them in crates of 25. I have not sold any and the vendor has been up for a week. I am on the eclipse server and selling them for 60k a crate. Has anyone else had problems with this.

Check the competition - how much are other people selling a crate of 25 for? How much does one unit from them cost? How much does one of your units cost? Is your vendor search enabled?

well i have seen crates of 5 from anywhere between 12.5k to 25k so i figured 60k for 25 would be on the cheaper end.

Well yeah, 60k is *really* cheap. I didnt notice your server, so I cant comment on the market there, but if you looked around and the range you posted was average, you must have a lot of people making BH droids.

I dunno, I sell way more crates of 5 than I do of 25... even to the same bounty hunter. I've noticed that I'll have 5 "vendor sale complete" emails about the same guy buying 5 crates of 5. Then check the vendor and see several crates of 25 still up there.



I don't jack up the price just because there's more in the crate. The crate of 25 cost 5 times as much as one containing only 5. Not quite sure why they do that.

Yeah, I tend to sell more of the smaller quantity packs than the bigger packs. I sell singles, 5 packs, 10 packs and I have 1 single 25 pack on the vendor. If someone chooses to buy the 25 pack they get 5 packs free (600k instead of 700k). I have sold 3 25 packs but tons of the others .. down to less than 20 items on that vendor now so will have to start another factory run off to restock.

I'm a Bounty Hunter on Flurry, and I think I'd go for that, especially if it meant not having to hunt down another DE for droids.

It's probably just a matter of advertisement or location, check and make sure that vendor search is enabled on your vendor and maybe find a way to advetise your prices and location.

Resource quality to my knowledge means nothing, so don't waste good resources on them.

Ive been a DE on Eclipse for about a year and a half - I've been selling arayds at 2.5k each, and seekers at 2k each. seems to be about the average price, some sell for more. I stock singles, and crates of 5,10, and 25. I seem to sell more crates of 25 than anything else (62500 for the arakyds, and 50000 for the seekers)


as far as location, your best best would be to have a vendor outside kaadara. do a little *cough*spamming*cough* and you should be able to drum up some business, not too many DE's advertise.


business isnt quite as brisk as during the respec BH flood but still more than covers operating expenses
