Hello all,
Just sold my first detonator module droids after not having the materials for a while.
Got my customer outside to blow ourselves up to see how much damage the droids can do, and ... nothing. The droid exploded just fine but did no damage to my customer or the droid I had standing next to him.
The only real explosion was the egg that exploded on my face.
Are det modules currently bugged?

I tested last night with a Power 37 Mouse droid and a power 57 R3 droid.
The Mouse droid did about 900 points of damage to my willing (honest
) jedi testing monkey.
The R3 did 1800 points - while the testing monkey had aura going. I'll get the actual figures this afternoon .
They seem to be working for me - what was the power of the droid you used?

It looks like you have to be actively in combat with a person / NPC in order for the damage to take effect. This seems strange, to me, given it's supposedly a 'dangerous area of effect' weapon.
Isn't it supposed to work on anything standing around, combat flag or no?

Nope. It only affect enemys/mobs you can attack yourself.
Try dueling him and then using a bombdroid

No, you can use them in a PVE situation vs mobs or in PvP Situation vs players, but they have to be attackable by the user. For instance, my testing last night was done with my BH alt dueling the jedi lab monkey to get the damage output to work, otherwise. Otherwise it's sadly an expensive firework. Don't forget also you need Novice BH or Novice Smuggler to use the droids.
Hope this helps
