I did some scanning of the spawns reported to swgcraft, just to get a mental picture of the stat ranges on this.

verified- CD and OQ can both be up to 1000 (1000 CD reported on Farstar, 1000 OQ on Bloodfin)

caveat- without any caps, this resource seems to have a "free profile" as in its not statistically weighted to have any particular stats better than the others. It bears watching though, just be aware that most weeks its going to stink on ice.

heh, yea these new resources are all outta wack from everything else,, maybe to give everyone else a reason to hoard stuff and not let shipwrights get it cheap,.. in some respects i like having the different stats,, in others its really screwed us resource guys and killed what where nice metals,, that could fetch a nice price,,

an other SOE screw the vet move if you ask me.. i mean come on even there so called Vet gifts people can get after 180 days for the ship,, even the pictures you didnt have to have the game long.

The really need to give the vets more love,, and not just take more away with every patch..

On Beta, I used that steel in a lot of my DE components since the CD/OQ was a *LOT* better than the current copper spawns (go figure) ... CD808 or such during the time I was in Beta...

It would be nice to have something different to use other than Copper for CD in the DE/WS area... Then again, the resource hogs, er, vendors will charge outrageous prices...
