while in narmle i decided to take a look around the city andi came across a guild hall. there was a contractor insideso i conversed with him and he asked me if i would like a crafting job, i said yeah, he then gave me the option of a DE crafting job.after, i had the option of easy, something else,or advanced. i chose advancedthen he gave me a box with the instructions to put six adv protocol chassis' inside. out of curiosity i decided to complete his task just to see the reward. for my trouble, i received 210 credits and 126 droid exp.

31k credits and 40k of weapon xp for acombat mission. take an advance crafting job and make enough for a shuttle ticket. does someone not like crafters? a fighter doesnt have to ever take another type of profession. you cant say the same thing about a crafter. so i was thinking we could all use our version of destroy missions cause that 210 couldnt even pay for a single component that went into those six chassis'.

From what i have heard all missions are related to your combat skills, which is stupid.

Yea, they introduced the crafting quests a while back. Basically they were shooting for an alternative to grinding for people. You end up with *some* cash and xp versus no cash and about the same xp.

The Crafting Foreman jobs would be fine if they were realistic in terms of the game economy. If payouts at least partially reflected the amount of resource used (1cpu plus a bonus maybe?), as well as the extra time taken in getting the job, doing it back at your shop, and returning with the product, they might work. The game engine should at least pay you based on how much it costs to pull the resource out of the ground, since it can't know or match the cpu market on each server.
