I have a vendor dedicated to them, although I dont know why I bother as nothing really sells. Anyway, I dont fly in space (not my cup of tea) so I dont really know what to tell customers when they ask questions.
I got a question today, player said he wanted an r2d2 model for his ship like his friend has. Im comfused as I only see flight computers to craft and unprogrammed thingies. Is there something else Im missing ? Can these flight thingies be put into a droid's module slots ?

Hello,
I'm a bit of a noob but I believe any of the R type droids (R2, R5, etc) can be an astromech if they contain a data storage module. The level of the module determines the level of the Astromech. So a level 1 data storage module make a level one Astromech and a level 3 module makes a level 3 Astromech.

That would be correct. On the same note, only the X-Wing, Y-Wing, Z-95, Jedi and Actis star starfighters can accomodate an astromech. All other ships use flight computers.
