Thread: More noob questions!

Thanks for the reply. Just starting to make some BH droids to hopefully make some cash but I'd like ot learn how ot make Astromech droids.
I presume I need to still make the droid brain, droid motice system and droid frame still. Does quality matter at all for the resources and if so what effect doe they have on the actual droid. What components then do I need to make it an astromech droid usable in ships? And what shell is best for an astromech as i was originally looking at the R2 ADV but then I started looking at the R2 and the R2 Advanced and started getting confused!!
And lastly I can see how to make the bomb droid (and I presume quality is not an issue for the MSE Droid) but how do I add the detonation module? I can't see an option make for it.
Thanks!
Suit* Sorry bad typing.
There is no chance of me being able to become Force Sensitive with this character and I have a soon to be Jedi so I can't spend the time. I am currently collecting ca's for droid assembly, experimentation and customisation but wondered what I would need to make a 12pt Suit.
Also, can anayone tell me what effect the assembly, customisation has? And how I experiment?

12 point suite? You mean the extra two points? You can get the extra two points by getting FS. For experimentation you need to craft in front of a Weapon/Droid Station.
False. Getting the Force Sensitive trees do not add additional experimentation points.
Customization is useless - it does nothing.
Assembly is next to useless - I know some people care about it, but all it *may* do is decrease your chance of critical failure. Even *if* that works (still no conclusive evidence saying it does) it's still not really worth it because at Master you don't fail very often anyway. This is especially true if you plan to do mainly factory work.
Experimentation is the only useful one, and for DE's it's not even that terribly useful as so few of our products have multiple lines of experimentation and 10 points is generally enough. Personally, the only thing I ever bother putting the suit on for is making droid repair kits (pre-CU, that is). Off the top of my head, the only module that benefits from multi-line experimentation these days is a Stim module, which is pretty useless post-CU anyway.
Make an experimentation suit if it doesn't cost too much, but don't worry about the other two - not worth your time.

The link that you supplied isn't working, but I can verify that the Force Sensitive bonus does not provide additional points of experimentation.
When the Village was released, the Experimentation tree only offered a bonus to gettting successful crafting results and not additional experimentation points. It was done this way due to direct feedback provided from the '04 Fan Fest. Community consensus was that allowing such a bonus would make it a requirement to participate in the Village and FS grind, in order to stay competetive in the market.
