TH said in the droid invasion update that combat modules were coming in Publish 6. But the 'In Testing' notes dont say anything about combat. Was TH wrong again or is what in Test not publish 6?

I havent tried making one yet, is 5 all you need or will 6 in the r3 be better than 5?

To get the maximum combat capabilities out of an R3, you'll need 6 combat modules. To do the same with a probot, you need five. But the probot will still do more damage.


er... I think that's how it maxes out.

HEllo all. I am still quite new to most Droid makeing see that I specialize in easy Bh Droids. I have recieved a few orders for Combat droids and really want to put out a quality product. I crafted a 103 combat module and was wondering if this is descent. I am currently only a 10 point DE and currently looking for new tapes. Should I wait to get my 12point? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

103 is very good. I don't see any reason to wait until you're a 12 pointer before making combat droids. I'd start cranking out the droids.

According to the Droid Engineering 101 post that is stickied at the top of this forum, the max is 110. I've never made one that high though... the highest I've gotten is the low 100's, a loooong time ago.

To make the best combat modult on your planet, use Iorov polysteel copper. If that's too pricey for you, the use Trineowemibiam or Iconris. All of those are good coppers. For the gas, use Trinerattaism or Omnineolkacisis. Those put together should yield a very high combat module. Droid brain doesn't require quality. If you used these to make your 103 -rated, then that's probably going to be the highest for your galaxy.
