From what I read on the site when I first glanced over it there is some moddles where they have it set up where it eather has a built in computer or has a way to have it be programed by a computer. I read it a few days ago so I dont rember fully how it was set up but looks like a bunch are just ran off a Radio controll unit. But in theroy you could probly program them to have some basic ai in the terms of getting around objects and such.

There were alot of these guys with their droids at celebration 3. The droids looked amazing and they were remote controlled, some of the guys had them out running around the crowd. They spin their domes, light up and make noise by remote too, you wouldn't be able to tell they weren't actual droids if it wasn't for the guy 20 ft away with a controller in his hand.
